Chris Keyloun

Founding Coach and Head of Fitness Programming

Chris brings four years of Division 1 rowing experience to his work at Rowgatta. During his collegiate rowing career at Loyola University Maryland, he sat stroke seat in his Varsity 8 boat. While training as a rower in college, Chris developed a love for weightlifting and gymnastics after discovering CrossFit during his freshman year. Soon after, he obtained a Level 1 certification, followed by a Level 2, along with weightlifting certifications a few years later. 

When coaching, Chris pushes his Athletes to strive for virtuosity in each of their movements and encourages individuals to enter the studio with a positive attitude in order to build a motivating community environment. 

Chris is a certified weightlifter, AFAA Group Fitness Instructor and CrossFit Level 1 and Level 2 Trainer.
