Front Desk Team Member

Rowgatta is looking for high-energy, positive individuals that are passionate about fitness to join our team as Front Desk Team Members. Our Front Desk Team will serve not only as key members of the club operations staff, but as some of the most important ambassadors of the brand – you are the first and last interaction for every Athlete’s visit to Rowgatta. While this is an entry-level position, there will be opportunities for personal growth within Rowgatta as we continue to expand.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Facilitate a welcoming and professional greet and check-in experience

  2. Assist Athletes and potential Athletes with inquiries at the front desk and over email/phone

  3. Handle all Rowgatta purchases and manage Athlete class inventory

  4. Maintain clean/orderly front desk and lobby area, fingerprint-free windows

  5. Be an expert on all things Rowgatta, including our history, the workout, the studio, our coaches, and product knowledge (pricing, promotions, membership)

  6. Have a flexible schedule with ability to work early morning, midday, evening, and holidays

Key Requirements: 

  1. Strong interpersonal/customer service skills

  2. Prior experience in fitness studio, retail, or restaurant business is ideal

  3. Friendly, outgoing personality with a desire to deliver an elevated experience to our Athletes

  4. Effective communication skills via phone and email

  5. Comfortability with computer, bonus for experience with a fitness booking platform

  6. Elite multi-tasker, capable of handling phone calls/computer operations while working with customers in front of you

  7. Organized, detail-oriented

  8. Team-oriented and focused on building relationships with co-workers and Athletes alike

The Rowgatta Workout:

Rowgatta offers rowing-inspired group fitness classes designed to create an effective and fun way for our Athletes to reach and exceed their individual health and fitness goals. Our High-Intensity, Low-Impact (HILIT) programming integrates rowing and resistance training so that Rowgatta Athletes consistently improve their strength and endurance while burning fat and building muscle. Unlike other forms of cardio training, rowing is a full-body workout in which 86% of your muscles are engaged with each stroke. The Rowgatta Workout is meticulously designed to safely produce high exertion in a minimal amount of time, burning more calories than any other form of cardio endurance training.
